On #100happydays …

“We live in times when super-busy schedules have become something to boast about. While the speed of life increases, there is less and less time to enjoy the moment that you are in. The ability to appreciate the moment, the environment and yourself in it, is the base for the bridge towards long term happiness of any human being.”

Everyone needs a bit of happiness, right? Well, not just a bit. One needs to be happy constantly. It should be the default emotion, in my books. But it isn’t always like that…

Well right now, I’m not feeling the happy exceptionally. The usual. Work. Life. Family. You know, right? And I needed a reason to be happy, to find happy, to see the small things again to be thankful for. My aim for 2014 is to enjoy the moments that are great; to appreciate them end the environment – who is with me, what I’m doing, where I am. So I signed up for the #100happydays challenge.

Being happy for 100 days. Not as easy as it seems. I’m on day 3 now… and I’ll need to keep at this for another 97 days. Sometimes I’ll need a kick up the ass to see the happy, I realise that. But that’s what friends are for, yes?

If you’re in need to see the happy, sign up here, and follow my progress on Instagram. And kick my ass if needs be.

This is my pic from today…
